The rooms at Gasthof In Der Exlau are simply amazing! They have a private bathroom with a shower, which is so convenient. The modern rooms also offer WiFi, so I could easily stay connected. Plus, having a TV in the room was great for some relaxation time.

Personally, I didn't like that all rooms come with a TV. But hey, that's just my opinion.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gasthof In Der Exlau and I must say, it was a truly magical experience. the setting of this family-run guesthouse is absolutely breathtaking, situated by the banks of the Danube with no other buildings in sight. the occasional river cruise boat passing by, lit up like Christmas, added to the enchanting atmosphere. the hospitality provided by the owner and staff was exceptional, especially for those of us riding the Donauradweg. Although there was no laundry facility, the owner went above and beyond by offering to do our laundry herself, free of charge. the location was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. the rooms were super clean and comfortable, with a nice view and a lawn to relax on. the staff were friendly and helpful, even fixing our bicycle brake. the food was delicious, with a nice selection of hot dishes and a refreshing green salad. the breakfast spread was plentiful, consisting of fresh bread, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit.

Our family had a fantastic time exploring the nearby river, cycling along the scenic paths, and trying our hand at fishing and canoeing. The activities provided us with hours of fun and adventure, creating lasting memories for everyone.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if the hotel had a dedicated play area or playground for children.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the breakfast selection - plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and delicious coffee. The staff were friendly and even accommodated our dietary needs. The location by the banks of the Danube was beautiful and peaceful, with no other buildings in sight. The Gasthaus provided a clean and quiet environment for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff, who went above and beyond to assist us with a bicycle brake issue. we had a fantastic experience.

Peaceful and quiet surroundings perfect for hiking, cycling, canoeing, and fishing. Convenient amenities like free parking, bar/lounge area, and children's play area. They even welcomed our furry friends! Truly a delightful experience!
